East Coast of Malaysia Trip Part 2..!! (TERENGGANU)

Assalammualaikum....hai again guys!!! So, in the last post I had shared with you about my trip to Kelantan. Today, I shall finish up my East Coast trip to Terengganu...!!

After 2N3D of staying in Kelantan, on the 3rd day we left Kelantan for Terengganu. It was about 2 hours journey from Kota Bahru to Kuala Terengganu. We stayed for another 2N3D in Terengganu before leaving back to Melaka. A short trip, but nonetheless it was enjoyable and memorable. So, let's start, shall we...??

1) It was a tiring journey downward to Kuala Terengganu. So we decided to stop by at one of the stall beside the beautiful beach of Terengganu (I believed it was in Penarik or something). Can you guess what the stall sell? Fresh fried battered seafood..!!!!!! We ate it and it was GOOD...!!!!

2) We reached our Homestay in Chendering around 5-6pm. That night we just get a good night sleep and rest happily. The next morning, we continued our adventure by venturing nearby area. We went to Marang, and had a pit stop in Kuala Besut to see the memorial 'Batu Bersurat Terengganu', which was said to be the earliest written law in Malaysia.

3) From Kuala Besut, we decided to go to the infamous Tasik Kenyir, which is one of the largest man-made lake-like dam in Malaysia. It was my first time seeing the beauty and its splendor. My father had been in Tasik Kenyir multiple times during his working years, and even he was awed to see the changes that Tasik Kenyir had experienced. We decided to ride a boat, circling around the lake.

4) After venturing Tasik Kenyir, it was already late. So, we decided to head back to our Homestay to get a good dinner and rest. I took this opportunity to have a mini reunion with my ex-college mates. It was wonderful to see them doing so well in life. Currently expecting their 2nd child..!!

All in all, it was such a wonderful trip. On the next day, we took our leave and headed back to Melaka. Along the way, we passed through several region like Dungun, Kerteh and Kuantan. It was such an eye-opening experience for me, to see and appreciate the beauty of Malaysia and its diversity.

Absolutely gonna plan another trip afterward...maybe to the North soon..!!! Until then, bye guys..!!!

East Coast of Malaysia Trip Part 1..!! (KELANTAN)

Assalammualaikum and good evening to all. Alhamdulillah for another opportunity to write onto my blog. Today I'll we be sharing to you regarding my earlier trip to the East Coast of Malaysia that I had last April 2017.

Well, we (I meant my parents and my sister) went to Kelantan and Terengganu on the earlier days of April. It was planned since January 2017 when my father really wanted to visit these two states which he had last visited about 10 years ago. So, we began our trip to Kelantan first, followed by Terengganu. So, we visited several places here and there. It was such a great experienced. So, let me share with you guys about our trip:-

1) We arrived at Kelantan around evening. A 7-8 hours journey to Kelantan is really tiring, plus a heavy rain hits us around Terengganu highway, which caused us to be left stranded at the RnR. So, as the weather is cold and rainy, we decided to have our dinner at Restoran Satay Malaysia..!! Really love their satay, so juicy and plump..!!!!

2) The next day, we decided to have a look around the Kota Bahru and nearby. Our breakfast spot of the day was the infamous Kopitiam Kita at Pengkalan Chepa!!! It is a famous cafe, that included all type of Kelantanese traditional breakfast dish, and not to forget their signature ROTI TITAB..!!! Oh, just mentioning it makes my mouth watered.....

3) Then we went to Pengkalan Kubor for some innocent shopping..!!! Got ourselves some night gown and ice box, plus some souvenir for my anak kankung.

4) Afterwards we went to Rantau Panjang, but we didn't bought anything there as it is too big and crowded for us to venture around. So, we went back to Kota Bahru, and got ourselves a little treat at Pantai Cahaya Bulan (PCB). Having battered fried seafood while enjoying sips of sweet and thick Teh Ais Madu (Honey Ice Tea) beside a cozy and breezy beach is really soothing.

5) Another trip back to Kota Bahru, and we went on to visit the Sultan's palaces. It was beautiful. A must visit place for people like me who adore history and fine architecture.

6) Finally, we had our last dinner in Kelantan at Malis Corner Restaurant in Tumpat, which is nearby our homestay. The food was lovely, and I did enjoy the environment in the restaurant. It was fun and somehow retro.

7) Finally, early in the morning, we ended our stay in Kelantan and went on to Terengganu. Along the way, we made a pit stop at Tok Bali and enjoyed their Cendol at Professor Cendol.

I think I'll stop here for tonight. Tomorrow I shall resume my story in Terengganu..!!! I really enjoyed my stay in Kelantan, and hoping for another trip there. Got myself a good homestay to book on, plus there are lots of places that we haven't visit yet. Really gonna complete our journey in Kelantan soon enough. Until then....

A Fresh Start....

Assalammualaikum and good evening...

Alhamdulillah, it has been a while since I last wrote in a blog. Before this I used to have a blog called 'KISAH SEORANG PERWIRA' (pahlawanmelaka.blogspot.com). I created my first ever blog when I was about 15 years old. It was such a great pleasure for me back then, to blog whatever news or stories I had or experienced. I would like to thank my late sister, Eliza Parman for bringing me into the world of blogging, while experiencing the new pleasure of social media back then.

Now, I am 29 years old, and work as a freelance. Though I used to have a job as a medical doctor, but I decided to make a fresh start and held control in my life. Unfortunately, I had deleted my first ever blog, and creating this new blog afresh.!!!

Hopefully I will be able to enjoy and continue blogging for the rest of my life. I'd planned to focus on writing about travelling, foods & beverages, opportunities and general knowledge. My wish is that I can get as many people to be inspired through my writing.

Thank you...

Sincerely,
